Look What We Found at High Point Market

We just returned from a wonderful whirlwind tour at High Point Market where we walked for miles, learned a lot, purchased a few things for clients, and saw so many interesting new products some of which we absolutely loved, some which we thought were very unique and interesting, and some that we thought were downright awful!  Here are a few of our "finds".

Many of the furniture showrooms were lovely spaces, and this one at Woodbridge was no exception.

We love the Michael Aram showroom.  He is an American born artist who works primarily in metal.  His designs for tableware and furniture are beautiful and organic.  Each piece is entirely handmade with no two examples being exactly the same.  This is his Butterfly Ginko Lamp.

We found this handle-bar spin table from the Recycler - Bicycle Art and Funky Furniture to be very interesting.

Although this furniture from Polart is definitely unique, it is not for everyone (including us).  They have reworked classic baroque style pieces with a vibrant and youthful color template.

Our husbands loved this Luxor Chair from Pacific Green!  We loved the fact that this company provides inspiration and sustainable products and is a benchmark for socially responsible manufacturing.  But, it kind of reminded us of a football or maybe a basketball!  In fact, we learned that a Los Angeles Laker ordered this chair in purple and gold, the team's colors!  Pacific Green furniture is handcrafted and unique, and we admit it is comfy, but we don't want to see it outside of the Man Cave!

We loved the bedding and decorative pillows we saw at Eastern Accents.  This is Wainscott in Citron from designer Thom Felicia’s new luxurious line that brings his imaginative aesthetic to any bedroom.
